They will continue as district representatives until April when they start their terms along with Thom Baggerman.

We had a successful board meeting, thanks to the leadership of BEA President Jennifer Meadows, Chico State, and continue to focus on how we can help BEA grow in a changing academic and media world. Watch for the launch of a workshop for graduate students and teaching and research tracks, the launch of BEAi (BEA’s intelligent and interactive community) and a board of directors’ restructure to better integrate the activities of BEA interest divisions.

BEA’s newly elected executive committee will begin their term in April along with the following District Representatives that were elected (and/or re-elected) this past October:

*During the discussions surrounding our board restructuring, we will consider a special election to fill the remainer of Adam’s term when he begins his term with the Executive Committee in April.
