Between November 2017 and March 2018 a total of 13 manuscripts were submitted to JRAM and seven (7) were accepted for a 53.85% acceptance rate.
For the period of April 2017 through October 2017, 18 manuscripts were received and seven (7) were accepted for a 38.9% acceptance rate.
The November 2016 issue 23(2) issue is a culmination of a year-long effort with the Radio Preservation Task Force Conference at the Library of Congress, resulting in a tremendous volume of scholarship across North America from 19 radio scholars, communications specialists and archivists producing 15 articles. Special thanks to Hubbard Broadcasting, Library of Congress, Drs. Josh Sheppard and Christopher Sterling for making this special issue possible.
Editor Phylis Johnson reports Issues 22(1) and 22(2) published in May 2015 and November 2015 have an 18% acceptance rate for articles.
There is a 28.6% final acceptance rate between March 18, 2013 and March 18, 2015. She notes that JRAM’s acceptance rate has been coming down in recent months.
