BEA Board of Directors – Interest Division Representative

The duties of the BEA Board of Directors Interest Division Representative are as follows:

  • Maintain communication with the Interest Division Chairs throughout the year.
  • Relay issues, concerns and matters of Division interest to the members of the Board and/or Executive Committee.
  • ·Facilitate communication between the Board and the Interest Division Chairs.
    Assist the Interest Division Chairs and the Convention Program Chair in the organization and execution of the convention program.
  • Support and encourage diversity and inclusion of the interest division leadership and in convention programming (panels, papers, awards, etc.)
  • Attend the fall and spring Board meetings and submit a written report of the meeting to the Interest Division Chairs in a timely manner.
  • Attend the BEA annual convention.
