Beyond ChatGPT: Using Generative AI Tools - BEA2025's Top Attended Session
BEA is thrilled to announce the first #BEAPopUp event of the season. We have asked the presenters of BEA2025’s top-attended sessions to present a continuation of the presentation, this time with no seat limits. Generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools are more than text generators, like ChatGPT or Gemini. They can be used for content creation, creating assignments simulating real-world scenarios, providing tailored feedback on student work, streamlining the grading process, assisting in research, automating tasks, and motivating students to think outside the box while preparing them for their future careers.

JOBEM Announces Two Special Issues

JoME October Call for Submissions
In our efforts to bring readers useful information related to media education, our October 2025 issue will be a collection of some of the best teaching practices in our field. Submissions will come from the #Ignite session of BEA’s April 2025 convention and will feature cutting-edge teaching ideas to help readers better connect with students and industry in the classroom. Deadline for submission will be September 1, 2025. Guest editor for this issue will be Dr. Michael Bruce from the University of Alabama. You won’t want to miss this issue of JoME!
