Welcome to BEA’s 2024-25 Student & Faculty Networking Nights. Students and faculty from around the country meet with media professionals from different aspects of the business to learn about career opportunities. Each Networking Night is an online networking event where broadcasters and media executives hosting virtual tables and students move around the space and visit several tables during the course of the hour. It’s a casual but informative networking experience!
On February 11th we will host a “Journalism Edition.” We welcome our student members to virtually engage and make connections with industry professionals with a special insight into pursuing a journalism or sports focused career.
The next Student Networking Night is in April.
Each Networking Night is produced in partnership with BEA, NAB, NABLF and Community Marketing.

Meeting in a small group setting with recruiters gave me a comprehensive idea of what applying for jobs would be like, and I even got a job offer as a result! Networking is a very important skill in the broadcast field, and relationships I made at networking night will serve me well into my career.
