Next Event is for STUDENTS on February 11 @ 7:00pm
Welcome to BEA’s 2025 Student & Faculty Networking Nights. Students and faculty from around the country meet with media professionals from different aspects of the business to learn about career opportunities. Each Networking Night is an online networking event where broadcasters and media executives host virtual tables and students move around the space and visit several tables during the course of the hour. It’s a casual but informative networking experience.
On February 11th we will host a “Journalism Edition.” We welcome BEA student members interested in pursuing careers in journalism to virtually engage and make connections with industry professionals.
The next Student Networking Night takes place in late April and will focus on jobs in sports media.
Each Networking Night is produced in partnership with BEA, NAB, NABLF and Community Marketing.

BEA Student Networking Night is such a valuable tool! I was able to make personal connections with recruiters and industry professionals, as well as like-minded students. Meeting in a small group setting with recruiters gave me a comprehensive idea of what applying for jobs would be like, and I even got a job offer as a result! Networking is a very important skill in the broadcast field, and relationships I made at networking night will serve me well into my career.
