Supporting the Next Generation of Media Professionals
Launched in 2015, the RAB Student Scholars Program was created by RAB in partnership with BEA and supported by RAB member companies to encourage and prepare students for careers in radio and the broader media industry. Through the continued investment of its sponsors, the program provides students with convention access, professional development, mentoring and meaningful connections with leading media executives.

2026 RAB Student Scholar Program
This year’s program is pleased to offer up to 100 students a package that includes:

– A complimentary registration to attend BEA2026 and NAB Show in Las Vegas April 17-21 (the code will be sent after the application is approved)
– A $125 Amex gift card in travel support that will be provided to the scholars at the annual convention.

Students will be accepted on rolling admission.  We will stop accepting applications when all slots have been filled, so be sure to apply early! All travel arrangements (hotel, flight, ground transportation, meals, etc.) must be handled by the individual.

Students will have the opportunity to attend sessions/tours at both conventions and meet with top media executives during “Mentor Match-ups.”  In addition to the mix of content creation, podcasting, management, programming, sales and marketing, advertising and research sessions, RAB Student Scholars will have the chance to participate in programs specially designed for students and recent graduates. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with major industry recruiters during the annual Career Day on Monday, April 20.
