Each year, BEA awards grants between $1,000 to $4,000 to support creative scholarship projects aligned with the mission of BEA: broadcasting, electronic media, or mass communication.

Applications open in September

Eligibility

• Applicants must maintain current BEA individual, student, or associate membership when applying for and receiving funds.
• For multiple-authored applications, at least one author must be a current BEA member.

Timeline

• September 1: Applications open
• December 31: Applications close
• Mid-February: Grant recipients announced
• April: Recipients recognized during the Opening Awards Ceremony at BEA’s Annual Convention
