BEA Creative Grants

Application Criteria

Social and cultural significance of the project
Completeness and thoroughness of grant proposal
Quality of proposal components: clarity, originality, project planning, innovative approach
Likelihood of achieving results in a two-year time frame
Demonstrated need for funding
Grants will fund direct costs only (no indirect cost overhead) or stipends.
Applicants must maintain current BEA individual, student, or associate membership when applying for and receiving funds.
Grant funds will be paid to the recipients after recognition at BEA’s annual convention in April.
At least one graduate student grant is encouraged annually.
Recipients are expected to showcase their creative work at the BEA Annual Convention in Las Vegas within two years after receiving the grant.
