Call for RUBRICS

The Model Rubrics Project
BEA’s Curriculum, Assessment and Administration Division (CAA) is in the middle of a multiyear initiative called the “Model Rubrics” Project. As part of this initiative, we are looking for rubrics that can be used to assess ePortfolio assignments (e.g., papers or projects that are used to demonstrate student proficiency for developmental and/or senior benchmarking purposes). Examples of previous entries can be found on pages 38, 44, and 52 of JoME 6.3.
The Deadline
All projects should be submitted by Monday, January 19.
The Submission Requirements (five-parts):
Please email ONE complete document (in PDF form) to: upload.2016_Mo.yn0hm78mx3@u.box.com and include the following parts:
PART I: A cover sheet that includes: your name, university/college affiliation, email address and area(s) of media education that you are assessing (please use the list below to help narrow down the area):

PART II: The actual ASSIGNMENT you hand out to students.
PART III: A short paper (no more than two-pages, double-space) describing HOW THE ASSIGNMENT WAS USED to assess programmatic and/or class objectives/outcomes.
PART IV: The RUBRIC (used to evaluate the assignment).
PART V: An exemplar of a completed student assignment (paper examples like scripts or graphic designs can be emailed to the link above; video examples need to use the “upload box” below, please include your name and school in the “description” of the upload box).
