About BEA

For more than 70 years, the Broadcast Education Association has connected classrooms to newsrooms and research labs to production studios. Today BEA serves a global network of 3,500-plus educators, students and media professionals including nearly 275 college and university programs dedicated to the study and practice of electronic media and emerging technologies. From peer-reviewed journals and juried creative festivals to grant programs, symposia and an annual convention co-located with the NAB Show, BEA is where scholarship, storytelling and industry innovation converge.
