2026-2028 BEA Board of Directors Elections
Every two years, BEA members have the opportunity to nominate and vote for their District Board Representative.
This year, elections are being held in Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7.
District 1: Congratulations to Nick Artman, Slippery Rock University, who will continue to serve as District 1 Representative in this uncontested election.
District 3: Members will vote to elect their representatives. Nominees are Carey Martin, Liberty University and Chris Strobel, Northern Kentucky University.
District 5: Members will vote to elect their representatives. Nominees are Julia (Largent) Kuttler, McPherson College and Steve Price, University of Central Missouri.
District 7: Congratulations to Teresa (Terry) Filipowicz, Pima Community College, who will serve as District 7 Representative in this uncontested election.

Voting Process
• Current BEA individual members will receive a ballot via email for their specific district election on Friday, October 17.
• Please complete and submit your ballot online by the deadline.
Election Timeline
• Friday, October 17 – Ballots emailed to districts holding elections
• Monday, October 27, 5:00 pm ET – Deadline to complete online ballot
