MEET THE NEW BROADCAST EDUCATION ASSOCIATION 2013-2014 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Washington, D.C. – At the November 2012 BEA Board Meeting, a new executive committee was elected to serve the BEA membership. The terms for the newly elected executive committee members will begin at BEA2013 in Las Vegas this April. Please join us in congratulating the new executive committee officers:
President — Mary Schaffer, California State University – Northridge Vice President for Academic Relations — Barry Umansky, Ball State University Vice President for Industry Relations — Ric Harris, Accenture Secretary-Treasurer – John Allen Hendricks, Stephen F. Austin State University Immediate Past President – Greg Newton, Ohio University
In April 2013, Sam Sauls, University of North Texas will be rotating off the board as Immediate Past President.
BEA’s executive committee will begin their term in April along with the following District Representatives that were elected (and/or re-elected) this past October:
District 1 — Gregory Bray, SUNY New Paltz Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island & Vermont
District 3 — Mary Rogus, Ohio University Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, DC & West Virginia
District 5 — Tony DeMars, Texas A&M University-Commerce Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma & Texas
