BEA Research Grants
Selection Process
Proposals will be reviewed by the BEA Research Grant Committee. Committee decisions and notifications will be made by February 15th of each year. Grant recipients will be recognized during the BEA Annual Convention in Las Vegas.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be reviewed by using the following criteria:
- Importance of the research to society
- Relevance of the research to broadcasting and electronic media
- Completeness and clarity of grant proposal
- Quality of proposal components: clarity, originality, sound methodology, innovative approach
- Likelihood of achieving results in a one-year time frame
- Qualifications of researcher for this project
