Selection Process

Each submission is reviewed by three BEA members, including past Leibner Cooper Grant recipients and members of the LABF. The selection process is chaired and monitored by BEA’s Senior Faculty Fellow.

Selection Criteria

  • Appropriateness to media history
  • Worthiness of preservation
  • Depth and uniqueness of project
  • Quality and thoroughness of proposal
  • Demonstrated need for funding
  • Addresses diversity and inclusion elements
