Rank the Submissions<\/strong> Do not click the accept or reject buttons next to the session.\u00a0 Instead, please fill out the Division Ranking Form and submit it to the Convention Program Chair (this will be emailed just before 9\/15).\u00a0 They&#8217;ll keep you posted on what was accepted into the convention program.\u00a0 You should hear back by mid-November at the latest.<br \/><strong>Step 5 &#8211; Notify the Program\/Panel Submitters<\/strong> Once you hear back from the convention chair about panels, please notify everyone who submitted a panel to your division and let them know if their proposal was accepted or rejected.\u00a0 Encourage them to check the program when it is posted for time and location and to let Heather know immediately if they have special AV needs.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Vice Chairs\/Paper Chairs: Entire Review Process&#8221; Email <a href=\"mailto:heather@BEAweb.org\">heather@BEAweb.org<\/a> if you have a reviewer who is not a member and she&#8217;ll add them.\u00a0 Please plan to have THREE (3) reviewers per paper.\u00a0 (Research-in-Progress submissions should have TWO (2) reviewers per abstract.)<br \/><strong>Step 4 \u2013 Assign Papers to Reviewers<\/strong> Once reviewers have been linked to your division, paper competition chairs can assign paper submissions to individual reviewers (see the Creating a Pool of Reviewers of Assigning Reviewers.)<br \/><strong>Step 5 \u2013 Reviewer Instructions <\/strong>Send instructions to your paper reviewers so they will know what to do when they get to the site (see Review Instructions).<br \/><strong>Step 6 &#8211; Review results <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/convention2.allacademic.com\/one\/bea\/bea26\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Login to All Academic<\/a> and click on Submission\/Division Management. Under the Management section of your division\u2019s page,and click on the menu option called \u201cCompleted Reviews Report\/Accept or Reject Proposals.\u201d\u00a0 Scroll to the bottom of that page and click the \u201cLoad Records\u201d button to see the results.<br \/><strong>Step 7 \u2013 Announcing Results<\/strong> &#8212; Notify paper authors with results. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/bea.memberclicks.net\/paper_26\">Fill out a BEA Paper Competition Form<\/a> that includes information about the winning papers.\u00a0 Email <a href=\"mailto:heather@beaweb.org\">heather@beaweb.org<\/a> if you have trouble.<br \/><strong>Step 8 &#8211; Accept, Pending &amp; Reject<\/strong> &#8212; BEA Staff will accept and reject the papers after you fill out the Paper Competition form.<br \/><strong>Step 9 &#8211; Moderate Paper Presentations<\/strong> &#8212; Your final step as paper chair is to moderate your interest division&#8217;s paper competition session at BEA&#8217;s annual convention.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Paper Chairs: Create a Pool of Reviewers&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step 1 &#8211; Invite Reviewers\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Consider emailing the division and posting on social media pages to build your pool of reviewers.<br \/><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step 2 &#8211; Locate Reviewers <\/span> <\/b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">From the <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/convention2.allacademic.com\/one\/bea\/bea25\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">All Academic<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\"> Division &#8220;Submission Management Area&#8221; (you&#8217;ll see this after you login), click the \u201cpeople\u201d tab below the statistics box.\u00a0 This is a search engine where you search or browse the name you want to add to your reviewer pool. (If they aren&#8217;t in the system, email <a href=\"mailto:heather@beaweb.org\">heather@beaweb.org<\/a> with name, email and school and she&#8217;ll create an account<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">.)<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step 3 &#8211; Add Reviewers <\/span> <\/b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Once you find the name you are looking for, you&#8217;ll see an \u201cadd reviewer\u201d link to the right of the name in the action column. Click this to add the person to the reviewer pool and at the bottom of the page &#8220;Update Selected People.&#8221;\u00a0 This means you successfully added them to your pool &#8211; and they will show up under the Reviewers tab.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step 4 &#8211; Add Multiple Reviewers at once<\/span><\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> <span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"> If you would like to add multiple accounts to your reviewer pool, click on the small boxes to the left of each name. Click on as many of these boxes you wish (until you see a check mark) OR you can click the very first box at the top of the list to highlight them all. Now, scroll down to the very bottom of the page to the drop-down menu. Click the down arrow and choose the option that says, \u201cChecked Item: Add Reviewer.\u201d Now click the \u201cUpdate selected people\u201d box. This will add all of your selected people to the reviewer pool.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step 5 &#8211; View Reviewers <\/span> <\/b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">To see your list of people who have been added to the reviewer pool, scroll to the tabs below the statistics box and click on the tab, \u201creviewers.\u201d All of these names will now be made available to you to assign to each paper.<\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><br \/><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step\u00a05 &#8211;\u00a0Email <\/span><a href=\"mailto:heather@beaweb.org\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-size: medium;\">heather@beaweb.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"> with any questions about the\u00a0process.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Paper Chairs: Assigning Reviews&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/convention2.allacademic.com\/one\/bea\/bea26\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">Login to All Academic<\/span><\/a><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step 1 &#8211; Assign Reviewers <\/span> <\/b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">View the papers by clicking on the Paper Submissions tab &#8211; located under the &#8220;Statistics&#8221; box.\u00a0 To assign reviewers to each paper, click the \u201cAssign Reviewers\u201d link in the action column on the far right of the page.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Step 2 &#8211; Link Reviewers<\/span><\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"> (Link them to particular papers) <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"> Scroll down to see the list of all of the reviewers you have assigned to your pool. Find the name(s) you want to add and click the \u201cAssign Reviewer\u201d link next to their name. You can also use the bulk action option (as you did before when creating your reviewer pool) to add multiple names as once.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Step 3 &#8211; Accept and Continue<\/b> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"> When the page refreshes, you should see your reviewers listed under the &#8220;Individual Submission &#8211; Assigned Reviewer(s)&#8221; section. If everything looks correct, click the \u201cUpdate Selected People\u201d button to the lower right of the last name on the list.
