From the big names of opening day, Rowan University presents David Simon<\/a>, and Evan Rosenblum<\/a> to the in-depth insights of Shelly Palmer<\/a> to receiving a complimentary version of the American Cinematographer Manual <\/i><\/a>\u00a0from ASC President Richard Crudo<\/a>\u00a0adoring the final BEA2015\u00a0session with\u00a0Francis Kenny, ASC….\u00a0It could have been the take-away teaching tips from\u00a0BEA Ignite<\/a>, Al Tompkins<\/a>, or\u00a0the 3rd\u00a0Annual Assessment Boot Camp<\/a>….or the brilliant research presented during the 7th\u00a0Research Symposium<\/a>,\u00a0paper competitions <\/a>,the interactive poster sessions<\/a> or Industry Professionals\u00a0Liz Huszarik,<\/a>\u00a0Jack MacKenzie<\/a>, &\u00a0Keith Friedenberg<\/a>\u2026.maybe the excitement surrounding the awards presented to\u00a0Jannette Dates\u00a0(DESA)<\/a>,\u00a0James G. Webster\u00a0(LAS)<\/a>, and\u00a0David F. Crider\u00a0(Harwood Dissertation Award)<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0or one of the King Foundation’s “Best of”\u00a0Festival of Media Arts<\/a>\u00a0Awards……..talking to colleagues during a reception or in the BEA2015 exhibit hall<\/a>\u00a0lounge in between visits to institutions, publishers, software or equipment manufacturers ….perhaps it was all of the above that made it a valuable and successful convention for you.\u00a0 As always, we thank you for your support and for celebrating BEA turning 60!<\/p>\n
