In order to qualify, the entrant must have the following qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a current BEA Academic Professional\/Staff member; i.e. student radio or TV station manager; departmental media producer utilizing student crews, instructional content creator, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be employed full-time by an institution of higher education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The primary creator of the submission or, in the case of a faculty\/professional collaboration, must be responsible for 60% of the creative control of the submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>How to compete: Enter under the appropriate Faculty Festival Competition (Documentary, Sports, etc.)&nbsp;and check&nbsp;the box to designate your academic employment status.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Full-time academic media staff and adjunct faculty can now submit entries for the Festival of Media Arts.
