WUSN Names Evan Kroft Music Director

(11/15/02) WUSN-FM, America's Country Station, announced today that effective immediately, Evan Kroft becomes the Music Director and Assistant Program Director.

Justin Case, Program Director of WUSN said, "With Eric Logan moving to New York, I am committed to continuing the innovation process at US*99.5. With Evan handling the day to day music execution, I will focus my energies on working with Label Heads, VP's of Promotion, and artist management developing partnerships and events similar to those held in Chicago with Toby Keith, Keith Urban, and Tim McGraw."

Steve Ennen, Vice President and General Manager of WUSN commented, "I have watched Evan work as our Assistant Program Director with Alan Sledge, Justin Case and Eric Logan over the last five years, I have never seen anyone work harder or have a bigger passion for country Music. I am very pleased WUSN can offer Evan his next step in what I know is going to be a long and celebrated career in Country Music."

Kroft is a graduate of Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, IL with a degree in Communications. During his studies he won a coveted broadcast scholarship from the John Bayliss Foundation. Kroft started at WUSN in 1997 and was most recently the Programming Assistant and Research Director. Kroft also produced and engineered the "The Country Gold Show" which originates from WUSN and is syndicated by Westwood One, along with pulling a weekend air shift.

Recently WUSN announced other changes in the Programming Department, including the addition of Katherine Kelly as Executive Producer of the Morning Show and Content Director for the station and it's web product.
